Isaiah Thomas felt "very disrespected" by Sacramento Kings

Isaiah Thomas has said that he felt "very disrespected" by the Sacramento Kings after they signed Darren Collison.

The point guard was allowed to join the Phoenix Suns once the Kings had completed the signing of the former Los Angeles Clippers guard.

The 25-year-old told AZCentral Sports: "I felt very disrespected. Every year it was somebody new. I felt I did a good enough job to show them I was a starting point guard or a guy who could play a big role with their team. But they thought differently."

Thomas averaged 20.3 points per game last season.
