Great Britain have fallen to a 50-67 defeat at the hands of Canada in their women's wheelchair basketball Group A match this afternoon.
ParalympicsGB made a good start to the match, and led 16-14 after the first quarter as they looked to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
Canada responded in style in the second quarter, however, taking it 20-9 to make the half-time score 34-25 in their favour.
The Canadians extended their lead even further in the third quarter, taking it 21-11, which opened up a lead of 19 against the Brits.
The final quarter was a closer affair, but ParalympicsGB couldn't muster the huge effort needed to close the gap, winning the quarter 14-12 but losing the match 67-50.
