Great Britain's women could not quite do enough to cause a huge upset against Germany in their quarter-final this evening, eventually going down 55-44.
It was a strong performance against one of the hot favourites for gold and it wasn't until the final quarter where the Germans really showed their class.
Britain defended admirably and were even up at the end of the first quarter, holding a 12-8 at the break.
They managed to even extend their lead at the start of the second, but Germany fought back well to shade the half 22-21.
There was nothing between the two teams in the third quarter, with both sides netting 12 points to set up the final period at 34-33.
Britain got themselves up by 41-38 after three minutes of the quarter but Germany stormed back with GB managing just three more points to Germany's 17.
