The Utah Jazz have confirmed that Marvin Williams sustained a fractured nose during the team's game against the San Antonio Spurs last week.
The forward has featured in two games since picking up the injury, but missed Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans in order to be fitted with a protective mask.
The 27-year-old underwent a procedure to help repair the injury earlier this week, but is expected to be available for this evening's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Williams have averaged 7.6 points per game so far this season.
