John Wall has admitted that the Washington Wizards' current road trip is not going to plan.
The team are two games into a four-game run away from home, and are yet to secure a win, having lost 116-103 to the Portland Trail Blazers last night.
The point guard told reporters: "Things aren't going our way right now. Some guys are down, but there are no excuses. We know we should be 1-1 on this trip right now. Two more games left to put this one behind us. Win the next two, go home even.
"[The Trail Blazers] are a team that gets hot from time to time. And they got hot and made some contested shots, they rotated the ball and guys knocked down their shots."
The Wizards will play the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets before returning home.
