Team England's Galal Yafai was won gold in the men's 46-49kg category at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The 25-year-old - whose two older brothers are professional boxers - won on points by a split decision, with three of the five judges awarding him the fight against India's Amit.
Judges from Canada, Ireland and Trinidad and Tobago all ruled that Yafai had come out on top, with the Australian judge deeming the fight a dead heat.
It was not a unanimous points decision, with the judge from China awarding the bout to Amit, but Yafai had done enough to add Commonwealth gold to the silver he won in the European Championships last year.
Amit picked up the silver medal as a result of his defeat, while the bronzes went to Thiwanka Ranasinghe of Sri Lanka and Uganda's Juma Miiro.
