Devendro Singh Laishram of India has produced a devastating performance to stop Bayron Molina Figueroa of Honduras in the opening round of their Olympic light-flyweight encounter.
Laishram took control of the bout from the opening exchange, sending Molina down with a thunderous right hand.
The Indian inflicted more punishment on his opponent, forcing the referee to step in twice before waving the contest off with 36 seconds of the first round still remaining.
