Ireland's Paddy Barnes has repeated his showing from Beijing four years ago by guaranteeing himself a bronze medal with a win over India's Devendro Singh Laishram.
Neither fighter spared a punch in the early exchanges and were firing at each other's guard. Barnes also worked well to the body and was rewarded with a two-point advantage.
The Irishman was working his opponent down and putting some nice combinations together, switching from head to body.
Nothing that Laishram threw seemed the faze Barnes, who was then gifted two points when the referee gave the Indian a warning for headbutting.
Barnes led by seven by the bell for the third round and came under some pressure in the dying seconds.
However, the judges awarded him a 23-18 decision.
