The fight between James Degale and Andre Dirrell for the vacant IBF super-middleweight title is likely to take place in the United States later in the spring.
Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn, who represents DeGale, had hoped to include the bout on his April 25 card in London, but on Tuesday afternoon, he announced on Twitter that he had lost a purse bid to Warriors Boxing.
News out of the U.S. - runner up for us in the purse bids for @jamesdegale1 v Dirrell -we bid $2.105m & Warriors boxing bid $3.1m! Date soon

The title was made vacant after previous title holder Carl Froch failed to face mandatory challenger DeGale before a December 31 deadline last year.
