British middleweight Chris Eubank Jr has rejected Billy Joe Saunders's offer of £20,000 to withdraw from a bout in Liverpool next weekend.
Eubank Jr is due to compete in what is effectively a warm-up fight ahead of a huge domestic clash with Saunders, who currently holds the British, Commonwealth and European belts.
At a press conference yesterday, Saunders made Eubank Jr a five-figure offer to withdraw from his October 25 contest, but after it was rejected, the son of Chris Eubank Sr said taking the former Olympian's titles on November 29 will be "beautiful".
The 25-year-old told reporters: "It's going to be beautiful to take his belts home on November 29. I will be there.
"This has captured the public interest, a rivalry like this is what every fighter dreams of."
Both Eubank Jr and Saunders are yet to lose in the professional ranks.
