The International Boxing Federation ratify Carl Froch's super-middleweight title defence against George Groves, which is expected to be announced later today.

A domestic super-middleweight showdown between Carl Froch and George Groves is expected to be confirmed at a press conference in London later today.

Both camps have been in negotiations over a deal for the last few weeks after the International Boxing Federation made Groves their mandatory challenger for Froch's title.

An agreement over contracts has reportedly been agreed and will see the Londoner step up to challenge Froch later this year, with a date of November 23 pencilled in for the clash.

Groves dropped a heavy hint that terms have been signed on Twitter last night, posting a message which read: "On @SkySportsNews tomorrow talking about my next fight.. You all know who it is.. and no it's not the fella that's stolen my bike!"

The 25-year-old is unbeaten in 19 professional contests, winning five of his last six fights inside the distance.

Froch is fresh from unifying the IBF and WBA super-middleweight belts in May, with a unanimous decision victory over nemesis Mikkel Kessler at the 02 Arena.
