World super-middleweight champion Carl Froch has suggested that he would be interested in facing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr or Gennady Golovkin.
Froch is currently preparing to face George Groves at the O2 Arena in November, but if he wins that bout, the Nottingham fighter has hinted at a blockbuster encounter with either Chavez Jr or Golovkin, if a rematch with Andre Ward cannot be agreed.
The 36-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Ward is very good at what he does, but he isn't exciting, and the television broadcasters don't really get excited when they talk about Andre Ward.
"There's also Julio Cesar Chavez, who is a big name in Mexico, and that would be a massive fight. Gennady Golovkin is also talking about coming up to super-middleweight.
"They are the options, and they are the big, big fights for me."
Froch has previously stated that he hopes to be involved in two or three more fights before retiring from the sport.
