Gennady Golovkin's manager Oleg Hermann has offered Martin Murray the opportunity to fight for the WBA middleweight title in November.
The Kazakh boxer stopped fellow Brit Matthew Macklin inside three rounds on Saturday night, and he is now eyeing a Madison Garden showdown with the 30-year-old.
Hermann told World Boxing News: "Gennady has already said that he wants to fight Martin Murray next.
"The problem is, we are told that Martin has big problems with his United States visa and cannot go to America.
"If he can get his visa and wants this fight, we have a date on November 2 and we can make this big fight happen at Madison Square Garden."
Murray lost his undefeated record in April when he suffered a points defeat to Sergio Martinez.
