Lee Haskins: 'I will stop Stuart Hall within six rounds'

IBF bantamweight champion Lee Haskins predicts that he will stop Stuart Hall within six rounds when they meet at London's O2 Arena on Saturday night.

British bantamweight Lee Haskins has said that he is ready to 'steal the show' when he defends his IBF bantamweight title against Stuart Hall on Saturday night.

Haskins has already defeated Hall on points in a British title clash in 2012 but four years on, he is hoping to make a statement by stopping his rival well inside the distance when they meet at London's O2 Arena.

The 32-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Where [the animosity] comes from is that I beat him convincingly before and then he won a world title. I was trying to tempt him in to fight me again but he wouldn't and now I've got it and he wants it back.

"It'll be the first show I've ever stolen. I've never been more ready for a fight. My speed and power and everything is just on point. I'm looking forward to showing that to Mr Hall.

"The plan is to put him to sleep within six. We know his gameplan. He can only do one thing and that's come forward. It's what he's going to do and he's going to walk on to things."

Haskins has won 33 of his 36 fights as a professional while Hall has 20 wins and four draws to his name in 26 outings in the paid ranks.
