Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has said that Carl Froch could return to boxing in September.
Froch has not fought since defeating George Groves last May and pulled out of a fight against Julio Cesar Chavez due to an elbow injury.
"I asked him the other day where his head was at and he said 'getting the lawn ready for the summer'," Hearn told The Mirror.
"I think he will fight in September, but if it's not the right fight and not the right deal, then he definitely won't fight again.
"We've got talks with [Andre] Ward ongoing, but the Chavez fight is still the one he wants."
Hearn also believes that Froch could fight Gennady Golovkin or James DeGale.
