Promoter Eddie Hearn has suggested that Carl Froch and his team may take some time before deciding their next title fight.
Froch ended George Groves's world championship dream with a thunderous right hand in the eighth round of their Wembley Stadium rematch, stopping the challenger in the process.
While James DeGale has emerged as the mandatory IBF contender for the 36-year-old title holder, Hearn hinted that there are other options available to the Cobra.
Hearn was quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "This is the pinnacle for him but he is still fresh at 36. James DeGale is the mandatory, there are a host of others and I can deliver those for Carl.
"I don't think the decision will be made by Carl, it will be Rob McCracken, when he decides, but tonight is not the night.
"Domestic fights sell. DeGale is the mandatory but Carl has got fights he wants. It is my job as promoter to push that fight for DeGale but Froch has so many things to do with his career still and we will find a way to appease everybody."
DeGale beat Brandon Gonzalez in controversial fashion at Wembley earlier on Saturday evening.
