British welterweight Amir Khan has revealed that he could face Manny Pacquiao at some point during 2016.
Last week, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum suggested that a showdown between the pair could take place next spring, and Khan has admitted that a mega fight between the two would "make sense".
The 28-year-old told Dubai 103.8: "I think the fight can happen. If it makes sense financially for both of us, then I think the fight will definitely happen. I think it makes sense for both of us to take it."
Khan is likely to make his next appearance in the ring in November, while Pacquiao has been ruled out of action until the early part of next year after undergoing shoulder surgery.
