Amir Khan suggests that he may start searching for a new coach due to Freddie Roach's commitments to Manny Pacquiao.

British boxer Amir Khan has dropped a hint that he could make changes to his training team, with Freddie Roach departing Khan's camp.

The 25-year-old has been forced to consider his position following his technical knockout by Danny Garcia in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The Bolton-born fighter has expressed his frustrations that Roach is training the the former WBA light welterweight champion on a part-time basis due to the coach's work with Manny Pacquiao.

"I want someone who is with me all the way through, like my conditioner Ruben Tabares is," The Mirror quotes Khan as saying. "It's hard when you're with Manny and have to be the number two.

"Now is the best time to sort these things out and my team will talk things over with Freddie. There are a few things I have to change to benefit me."

Despite recording two defeats in a row, Khan has insisted that he will not retire.
