Amir Khan has as good as ruled out an all-British showdown with IBF champion Kell Brook.
The Bolton welterweight said that he has no need to fight the 29-year-old as he has bigger ambitions, targeting a bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
"I know if I got in there with him I would beat him," the Daily Star quotes Khan as saying. "But why should I give him that opportunity? I'm going to be a cunt about it.
"Before it used to annoy me, but now it just satisfies me because I know he needs me more than I need him."
He added: "I'm definitely not scared, it's just why should I give him the opportunity? I don't need him."
Khan defeated Chris Algieri on points in his last outing, while Brook retained his IBF world welterweight title with victory over challenger Frankie Gavin.
