Unified world light-heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev has insisted that he isn't thinking about a potential showdown with WBC title holder Adonis Stevenson.
Kovalev has frequently stated that he wants to face the Canadian representative in a unification clash, but the hard-hitting Russian has revealed that he is completely focused on Jean Pascal, whom he faces on March 14 in Montreal.
At a conference call on Tuesday, Kovalev told reporters: "I don't care who I fight next.
"My next fight is with Jean Pascal on March 14. That is the only thing that I am thinking about right now. I am not thinking about anyone else."
Kovalev is currently unbeaten in 27 professional outings, while Pascal has won 29 of his 33 bouts.
