Sergey Kovalev has said that he feels in the "best shape" ahead of his world light-heavyweight showdown with Andre Ward.
Kovalev will put his WBA, IBF and WBO belts on the line in a fight which is regarded as the best match-up of 2016, and the hard-punching Russian is predicting that he and American Ward will have a "war".
The 33-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "If you are never nervous, it is not good. I am in the best shape right now for this fight.
"This fight is a great opportunity for both of us to show the boxing world who is the best pound-for-pound. It's going to be a war between us."
The winner of the bout in Las Vegas will be regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
