Ohara Davies vows to 'bounce back'

Ohara Davies insists that he "will be back" after losing his WBC Silver super-lightweight title to Scotland's Josh Taylor in Glasgow on Saturday night.

Ohara Davies has insisted that he "will be back" after losing to Scotland's Josh Taylor in Glasgow on Saturday night.

Taylor has been crowned the new WBC Silver super-lightweight champion after overcoming Davies, who had been unbeaten entering the much-anticipated contest at the Braehead Arena.

However, Davies, who had been locked in a war of words with Taylor in the build-up to the fight, has vowed to return stronger, in addition to paying his respects to the home fighter.

Davies's professional record now stands at 15 wins and one defeat from 16 fights.
