David Price refuses to consider retiring from professional boxing despite his second loss to American boxer Tony Thompson.

David Price has insisted that he will not be retiring soon despite his loss to Tony Thompson on Saturday.

The British heavyweight, who was unbeaten before his two defeats to the American this year, claims that he must now take some time before deciding how to recover from the latest setback.

Price told reporters: "I'm just trying to come to terms with what's just happened again.

"Really I'll have to just have a look back and see and look next week or whatever. I just need to come to terms with another defeat and another major disappointment."

Price's promoter Frank Maloney admitted that the 30-year-old had dropped out of the "Premier League" and needs to focus on re-building his career.
