Rocky Fielding has admitted that a showdown with Callum Smith for the British super-middleweight title is "massive" for Liverpool.
The two Merseyside punchers will put their unbeaten records on the line at the Echo Arena on November 7, and Fielding, a former Commonwealth title holder, believes that he possesses the power to stop Smith, who will also be defending his WBC Silver belt.
The 28-year-old told reporters: "The city wants to see this fight. It's massive, two Scousers, I'll be prepared to win. I've worked hard since Prizefighter to get here. I've got the power to do damage to him."
The winner of the clash is expected to challenge for the WBC belt at some point during 2016.
