Callum Smith has described his victory over Rocky Fielding as "unbelievable".
The Liverpool boxer defeated Fielding in the first round with the fight being stopped after Smith had floored Fielding three times during a breathtaking performance.
"Unbelievable. I felt excited while it lasted. It was a good fight while it lasted and I was pleased to get the win. He's a good fighter and I want to give him credit," Smith told Sky Sports News.
"I said in the build-up and it came across as arrogant that I was the better fighter but I showed it tonight. I said that as soon as one shot landed I thought it'd catch fire but I didn't think I'd take him out in the first round."
Smith has stretched his career record to 18 successive wins.
