British cruiserweight Tony Bellew has revealed that he has missed boxing after spending the opening months of 2015 on a movie set in America.
Bellew features in Creed, the seventh instalment of the Rocky franchise, but the Liverpudlian has admitted that he excited ahead of his return to the ring against Lubos Suda on Friday night.
The 32-year-old told Sky Sports News: "At this stage of my career, every fight is about winning and looking good. I need to get this job done.
"I've been out of the ring for eight months, which is the longest of my career. That was mainly down to other opportunities that came by way outside of the ring.
"I'm happy to be back because I've missed boxing so, so much. First and foremost, I am a professional boxer. The movie was a one-off."
Bellew's last bout saw him gain revenge on Nathan Cleverly in their highly-anticipated rematch in Liverpool last November.
