Frank Buglioni returns to winning ways

British super-middleweight Frank Buglioni has claimed the Southern Area title with a comfortable win against Sam Couzens.

Buglioni had been making strides up the WBO rankings before he suffered the first defeat of his professional career against Sergey Khomitsky in April.

However, the Londoner soon found his range against Couzens, who was floored by a left to the body in the first round before managing to make the bell.

Couzens had some success as the fight progressed past the opening quarter, but Buglioni was clinical in bringing the bout to a halt in the fourth when unloading a flurry of punches with his opponent pressed against the ropes.
