Kell Brook has stopped Vyacheslav Senchenko in the fourth round of their IBF welterweight eliminator in Sheffield.
It was the third round when Brook really began to turn it on, knocking the Ukrainian down with a solid left jab, that had already been used to good effect in rounds one and two.
He continued to put Senchenko under pressure until the round came to a close.
The former WBA champion, who was apparently suffering from an ear problem, did well to recover in the fourth round, rocking Brook with a heavy shot that forced him to curl up on the ropes.
However, the 27-year-old regained his bearings and finished with a bang, flooring Senchenko with a big right hand to send him to the mat face first.
Now undefeated in 31 bouts, Brook has retained his number-one ranking for Devon Alexander's world title, which the American defends against Shawn Porter on November 30.
