Serik Sapiyev to face Freddie Evans in final

Kazakhstan's Serik Sapiyev has made it through to the final of the welterweight tournament with victory over Russia's Andrey Zamkavoy.

The Kazakh dominated the first round and opened up a four-point lead.

However, Zamkavoy was a different animal in the second round as he began to find his range.

Sapiyev still led by two as they entered the final round, but was coming under increasing pressure. He managed to match Zamkavoy's work, though, and triumphed 18-12.
