Reece McFadden grateful for support

Scotland boxer Reece McFadden thanks home supporters for their role in his victory over Andrew Selby in the Commonwealth Games.

Scotland boxer Reece McFadden has said that the home supporters helped him cause a major upset in the Commonwealth Games on Friday.

McFadden was pitted against the red-hot favourite for the flyweight title, Andrew Selby, in his first bout, but overcame the Welshman in three rounds.

"Oh yeah, they have come from everywhere to watch this Games," he told Sports Mole when questioned on what role the crowd played.

McFadden will face England's Charlie Edwards in the next round.
