Team GB boxer Nicola Adams has made history by becoming the first female to ever win a gold medal at an Olympic boxing event.
The 29-year-old, who secured a nine-point win over China's Ren Cancan at the ExCel Arena, has received a barrage of support on Twitter following her famous triumph.
