Former England captain Michael Vaughan has admitted that Australia have "everything you'd need in a one-day tournament" following their World Cup triumph.
The Aussies won the tournament for the fifth time in the competition's history earlier today in Melbourne thanks to a seven-wicket victory over New Zealand.
Speaking to BBC Sport following the conclusion of the encounter, Vaughan said: "[Australia are] the best team in the tournament fantastically led by Michael Clarke.
"Today they were just too powerful and strong for New Zealand, who have been great throughout the tournament.
"They've had everything you'd need in a one-day tournament, with the left-arm pace of [Mitchell] Johnson and [Mitchell] Starc. They've got everything covered."
Before today, the Aussies last lifted the trophy back in 2007.
