Australia vs. South Africa washed out on day two

The weather in Hobart prevents Australia and South Africa's second Test from resuming on day two.

Australia have been denied the chance to draw level with South Africa on day two of the second Test in Hobart after the weather intervened.

Heavy rainfall in Tasmania prevented any play from taking place, with the action scheduled to resume 30 minutes early at 10am local time (11pm GMT) on the three remaining days.

The Aussies were bowled out for 85 on day one, with South Africa reaching 171-5 in reply to put them in control ahead of the second day.

Temba Bavuma (38) and Quinton de Kock (28) are the South African batsmen who are not yet out.

This is the first time a Test match in Hobart has lost an entire day due to the weather.
