James Faulkner has expressed his desire to represent Australia at Test level again.
The all-rounder, who starred in the Aussies' recent Cricket World Cup triumph, has pulled on the baggy green just once.
However, with a clear schedule that will allow him to play more Sheffield Shield matches this year, the 24-year-old is eager to capture the attention of the selectors.
"I would like to play Test cricket, that's the pinnacle, and the path is pretty simple," he told Cricket Australia's official website.
"I will have the opportunity to play more Sheffield Shield games for Tasmania next season. I've just got to make sure I do well with bat and ball and hopefully the rest can take care of itself."
Faulkner made his one Test appearance against England back in 2013.
