Pakistan dismiss Bangladesh for 135 on day one of the first Test in Chittagong as the tourists dominate.

Pakistan are in the ascendancy in the first Test against Bangladesh following an opening day where the hosts were dismissed for 135 in Chittagong.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat, Bangladesh only lasted 51.2 overs as spinners Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman claimed three wickets apiece.

Bangladesh suffered an early collapse and at one stage found themselves 28-4 following a dangerous opening spell from Aizaz Cheema who had two victims in the innings.

The tourists asserted their dominance on day one as they reached 132-0 at the stumps in Chittagong, almost wiping out the home side's lead on the first day.

Mohammad Hafeez will begin day two on 74 not out and will be joined by his opening partner Taufeeq Umar, who reached 53 not out in the unbeaten century partnership.
