Bangladesh set Pakistan target of 327 in Asia Cup

Bangladesh record their highest ever limited-overs total after making 326-3 against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh have recorded their highest ever one-day international total after making 326-3 off 50 overs against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh decided to bat after winning the toss and they got off to a strong start. Haque and Imrul Kayes (59) put on 149 for the first wicket before the latter was caught out by Mohammad Talha off the bowling of Umar Akmal.

Anamul continued to add runs at a steady pace and he made his second one-day international century when he pushed a flighted delivery from Mohammad Hafeez to long-on for a single. However, his innings came to an end soon after when he lofted a simple catch to Ahmed Shahzad.

Mominul Haque brought up his half-century before he was dismissed by Saeed Ajmal, but Mushfiqur Rahim (51*) and Shakib Al Hasan (44*) contributed with the bat to guide their side past the 300-run mark.

Ajmal took two wickets for Pakistan, while Talha claimed the other.
