India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has insisted that there is no extra pressure on his team ahead of their four-match series against England.
A two-game winning margin in the series, which begins at Lord's on Thursday, would
see England replace their visitors as the top Test team.
However, despite the threat of losing their place as Test kings, Dhoni revealed that India will not be treating this match any differently.
"For us every series is important, whether we are playing Bangladesh, Sri Lanka or any other side - home or away," Dhoni told a Lord's press conference.
"I feel every game of Test cricket is important.
"England are a good side, as are most of the other international sides. Each and every series is a chance to improve as cricketer and prove ourselves as a team."
The encounter will be the 100th Test between the two nations.
