Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan has encouraged Australia to select George Bailey for the upcoming Ashes series.
There is currently a large amount of speculation surrounding the inclusion of 31-year-old Bailey, who is yet to represent the Aussies at Test level.
However, Vaughan believes that the one-day international and Twenty20 skipper should be involved not only in the squad, but also in the starting lineup.
"George Bailey would be my No 6 for Australia in the Ashes. I would also make him vice-captain," Vaughan wrote on Twitter.
The first Ashes Test will get underway next month in Brisbane.
