England captain Alastair Cook accuses his batsmen of under-performing during their tour of India.

England captain Alastair Cook has once again pointed the finger at his batsmen following his side's six-wicket loss to India earlier today.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Cook's team could only make 220 runs before they bowled out, a total which hosts India reached with ten overs to spare.

"We expect people to able to perform, that's why they play for England," Cook told Sky Sports News.

"It's just a matter of delivering it out in the middle. As we know, 30s and 40s don't win you games of cricket out here.

"You can lose wickets in clusters on the sub-continent, we've done that as well. I can't fault the lads' commitment. The effort and desire is all there, we just aren't playing as well as we know we can do."

After today's match, India now lead the five-match series 4-0.
