England started the afternoon on day four with a 319-run lead before captain Alastair Cook declared on 205-4.

Ian Bell was the first of two wickets to fall in the second session when he was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja for 23.

Cook's revival with the bat continued as the England skipper reached 70, though he declared instantly following Joe Root's dismissal to Jadeja for 23.
