England openers Alastair Cook and Nick Compton have batted throughout the afternoon session in day four of the first Test against New Zealand.
The tourists are currently on 139-0 as the two teams head in for tea in Dunedin, which means they now trail by 154 runs.
Cook (64) was the first to reach his half-century, nudging a single from Bruce Martin, before Compton (60) whipped the spinner's delivery away for three runs to bring up his half-ton.
Both have looked assured at the crease, but will be looking to reach three figures as England seek to salvage a draw.
