England captain Alastair Cook has hailed his players for their "outstanding" win over South Africa in the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy.
The host nation eased to a seven-wicket victory at The Oval on Wednesday to book their place in Sunday's final.
"It's what you want in a semi-final," Cook told Sky Sports News. "It was a good toss to win but you've still got to execute those plans and it was an outstanding performance again. To win any tournament you need everyone contributing at different times."
The second semi-final will be contested between India and Sri Lanka in Cardiff on Thursday.
