Eoin Morgan and Jonny Bairstow continued to increase England's scoring rate with a partnership of 81 runs off 43 balls before Morgan was caught for 46.
Bairstow fell for 38 as England reached 194-5 with 13 balls remaining before Jos Buttler took the tourists' total up to 214 as he scored an unbeaten 32 off 15 deliveries.
