Morgan: I've not been good enough

England batsman Eoin Morgan has admitted that he has not been good enough in the recent Tests and one-dayers against Pakistan to justify selection.

The 25-year-old's highest score out of the 13 innings played in the United Arab Emirates is 31.

However, the Dublin-born batsman has produced unbeaten knocks of 24 and 25 in the two most recent ODIs.

"I always put myself under a lot of pressure, particularly in the longer format of the game," he said.

"But I haven't scored enough weight of runs to justify being number one in the side."

Morgan insisted that he is still in form, adding: "No, I've been out of form before and sometimes I've not seen where my next run is coming from. I just haven't got the runs I wanted. I'm still in reasonable touch."

He has four more innings left on the UAE tour to prove his mettle, starting with the fourth and final game of the one-day series, followed by three Twenty20s.
