The Brisbane Heat have confirmed the signing of England international Stephen Parry for the remainder of the Big Bash League.
The 28-year-old spin-bowler will replace Daniel Vettori, who will link up with his New Zealand teammates following Thursday's meeting with the Perth Scorchers.
"He's a good lad and a seasoned competitor for Lancashire. He's a solid all-round cricketer so we expect him to slot in and play a similar role as the one Dan performed for us," said Heat coach Stuart Law.
Parry could make his Heat debut against the Sydney Sixers on Sunday.
