England bowling coach David Saker has claimed that Chris Jordan is edging closer to a Test debut with his recent performances.
Jordan continued his impressive form on the international stage by taking 5-29 as England thrashed Sri Lanka in the third one-day international on Wednesday, and Saker is impressed with the improvements made by the 25-year-old.
"Chris Jordan is the ultimate professional - the way he prepares for the game and the way he looks after himself," Saker told Sky Sports News.
"He always wants to get better, and he is getting better. He's been a real find for us.
"On his performances so far, he is a Test cricketer."
Jordan averages 26.57 with the ball in 11 ODIs for England.
