Ben Stokes and Alex Hales are reportedly likely to face an ECB disciplinary committee after an incident at a Bristol nightclub in September.
Stokes has spent seven days in court this month after footage emerged of the all-rounder being involved in a physical alteration, resulting in the England player facing a charge of affray.
However, a jury has ruled unanimously that Stokes was not guilty, and that has led to his being made available for the third Test with India which starts at Trent Bridge on Saturday.
According to the Daily Mail, the pair still face possible disciplinary action from the ECB, however, with it being suggested that the governing body could hand out a charge for bringing the game of cricket into disrepute.
Stokes has already missed last winter's Ashes series with Australia, although he was recalled to the international fold at the start of 2018.
