Andrew Strauss wants his side to be a bit more clinical after their second Test victory.

England captain Andrew Strauss has demanded more from his players despite wrapping up a 2-0 series win over the West Indies.

The hosts picked up a comfortable nine-wicket victory on Monday after chasing down a target of 108 runs to win at Trent Bridge, where Tim Bresnan and James Anderson both took four wickets each.

However Strauss, perhaps referring to when Marlon Samuels and Darren Sammy both scored centuries after the Windies had been reduced to 133-6 on day one of the second Test, wants his side to be more clinical.

"You always like to be a bit more clinical than you have been," Strauss told Sky Sports News.

"We've had match-winning positions where we could have really finished the games earlier than we have.

"But being made to work hard, it makes it feel pretty good when you actually get over the line."

England face Australia and South Africa in a Test series later this summer.
