England have triumphed in the first Test of their four-match series with South Africa after overcoming Russell Domingo's team by 211 runs at Lord's on Sunday afternoon.
The victory, which gave Joe Root his first success as captain, is England's first in seven Tests, and was largely down to the performance of off-spinner Moeen Ali (6-53).
England had collapsed to 223 in their second innings, but Ali and Liam Dawson (2-34) bundled South Africa out for 119 in 36.4 overs as Trevor Bayliss's side triumphed in the English capital.
Temba Bavuma was South Africa's top scorer with 21, meanwhile, as the Proteas were undone in the first Test.
The second Test will begin at Trent Bridge on Friday, and South Africa will be boosted by the return of their captain Faf du Plessis, who has arrived back in England following the birth of his child.
South Africa pace-bowler Kagiso Rabada, however, will be missing for the second Test after being suspended following an altercation with Ben Stokes on day one of the first Test on Thursday.
