England win by 86 runs to level ODI series against India

England beat India by 86 runs at Lord's to level up the three-match series and set up a decider at Headingley on Tuesday.

England have levelled up their one-day international series with India at 1-1 thanks to an 86-run victory at Lord's.

Joe Root made 113 as the tourists limped to 236 all out in response to England's 322-7, setting up a decider at Headingley on Tuesday.

As well as Root bagging his 12th ODI century to equal Marcus Trescothick's record, before being run out by MS Dhoni off the final ball of the innings, David Willey hit an unbeaten 50 from 31 balls.

India found themselves at 60-3 in a slow start to their innings, but Virat Kohli put together a stand of 80 with Suresh Raina to keep his side in the game.

Kohli was sent packing lbw to Moeen Ali for 45, however, and India then collapsed to leave the three-day series delicately poised.
